First Grade Teacher - Karen Plichta
Ms. Karen Plichta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a minor in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from DePaul University of Chicago. She came to St. Genevieve School after having taught third grade for nine years at Divine Savior School in Norridge. Ms. Plichta teaches first and second grade reading and language arts at St. Genevieve School. Ms. Plichta has experience tutoring students from the ages of 5-16 and preparing students for ACT/SAT testing.
Second Grade Teacher - Heather Cleaver
Mrs. Heather Cleaver holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mrs. Cleaver has taught pre-kindergarten, first and second grades and is also the coordinator of the St. Genevieve School Choir. Mrs. Cleaver has been teaching at St. Genevieve School since 2005.
